Our financial contribution to a school canteen provides the children with a regular diet which is an important incentive for school attendance.
During the 2008/2009 school year, the school canteen fed up to 550 students coming from 12 surrounding villages.
The programme was very successful, encouraging students to stay in school and benefit from a nutritional meal twice a week, thus avoiding long journeys to try and find food at lunchtime.
